If you filed Chapter 7 and want to file a Chapter 13, the time period is four years from when you filed Chapter 7. If you filed a Chapter 13 and want to file another Chapter 13, the time period is two years from when you last filed.

The date on which a debtor files a petition for relief under the Bankruptcy Code and commences its bankruptcy case. This date is used to determine what is property of the estate and is the date by which creditors’ claims are measured.

Submit a copy of all documents filed to the High Court in connection with the bankruptcy proceedings to the Official Receiver. Complete a “Debtor’s Bankruptcy Petition” on Form 3 of Bankruptcy (Forms) Rules and a “Statement of Affairs (Debtor’s Petition)” on Form 28C of Bankruptcy (Forms) Rules.
