Global Economy is important because countries around the world look for support from each other. For example, the foods that are imported from other countries come to the USA and of course we pay for it in the markets.
Why can it be said that we are living in a global economy?
It is also the system of trade and industry across the world that has emerged due to globalization. The way the world is today, with countries’ economies so intertwined and interdependent that they all seem like parts of one whole. That ‘whole’ we call the ‘global economy.

It refers to the exchange of goods and services between different countries, and it has also helped countries to specialise in products which they have a comparative advantage in.
