How do I use my Visa Gift Card online? You can use your card for online purchases by entering the card number, expiry date and the 3 digit code (CVV) found on the back of the card. Occasionally websites will ask for the name on the card, in these instances simply insert “Gift Card” in the field provided.
How do you activate a gift card on toast?
From the Ordering Screen, on your Toast device, scroll to the right of your menus until you find the Gift Cards button.
- Select the Sell Card button.
- On the next screen, enter a dollar amount to activate the card.
- Next, you can either swipe, scan, or key-in the gift card number.
Why does my gift card not work?
The most common reasons are that the card hasn’t been activated, the cashier is running the wrong type of transaction, the dollar amount being charged is greater than the card’s balance or the credit card processing machine is bumping up the charge amount to either place a hold on the card or to allow for a gratuity.

How do I use my Amazon gift card?
Just select the Gift Card tab in the Payment section of the checkout. Enter the card number and 4 digit PIN located under the scratch panel. The amount of your order will then be deducted from your card and any remaining amount will stay on your card for future use. You can only use one gift card per order.
