How do I load money to my Visa Prepaid card? There are many convenient ways to load funds onto your Visa Prepaid card. You may also be able to load cash at ATMs, bank branches, and retail locations, or add money from checks by using the mobile check deposit feature on your card issuer’s mobile app.

Can you load a prepaid debit card with cash?

If you’re adding money in-person, you may be able to do so using cash. But if you’re adding money online, then you’ll need a bank account to transfer the money from unless you have the option to use mobile check deposit.

Can you add money to a Visa debit card?

You can’t technically load money onto a debit card because your available funds simply reflect what’s in the bank. To boost your balance, you need to deposit more money into your checking account. Keep in mind that most debit cards have a spending limit, which might be less than the total in your checking account.
